| Event | Location | Date(s) | | 15TH ANNUAL TAC2 CHAMPIONSHIP | TAC2 | Oct. 26, 2013 | FORMAT: This is a one day Defensive Pistol match with 6-10 stages, with 25-35 rds. per stage. (It's not IDPA and it's not USPSA; however; most IDPA rules apply) No extreme physical stuff, but your skills will be tested. We will have a good time. Limited to the first 100 applicants.
GUNS: If your gun is legal in IDPA, USPSA Limited-Limited 10, Single Stack, or Production, then it’s fine for this match. No optics or compensators. Mag. wells, long heavy dust shrouds, bull barrels and oversize mag. releases are fine, BUT the gun MUST fit in the IDPA box without a mag in it.
MAGAZINES: Extended mags. are fine; however; "All pistols limited to 10 rds. max. in mag., regardless of mag. capacity". You can carry as many mags. as you wish.
GEAR: Gear must be basically IDPA legal, practical/tactical/duty style, etc. No race rig holsters, etc. Gear must be worn at point of hip or behind. No concealment garment required. If you're not sure if your kit is legal, contact me PRIOR to the match to find out.
SCORING: Major caliber will be scored 1 second for each point down AND Minor will be scored 1.5 seconds for each point down. Ammo subject to random chronograph. Shooter not meeting Major PF will be dropped to Minor PF. Ammo not making Minor PF will be DQ'ed; therefore; make sure prior to the match.
AMMO REQUIREMENTS: 150 - 200 rds. NOTE: ROUND COUNT IS AN ESTIMATE. Always bring a few extra.
COST: $100 if postmarked by October 10, $150 if postmarked after October 10, IF SLOTS AVAILABLE. Registration begins at 7:00 a.m., Shooters meeting at 8:30, First shots fired at 9 a.m.
LEWIS SCORING SYSTEM: Prizes will be awarded to 1st Overall and 1st, 2nd, 3rd in Gold, Silver and Bronze divisions. Awards presentation will take place 1/2 hour after last scores are posted. We always have a GREAT prize table with everyone going to the table at least once, sometimes everyone goes twice. For the money, there simply isn't a better prize table anywhere, and very few as good, even with much higher entry fees. Last year, we gave away over $25,000 worth of prizes.
